Wet Brush Review
Every day I have to brush my hair at least once maybe even twice. Now for most people this takes 2 minutes and is a virtually pain free experience (lucky things!). Not for me. I have such long and thick hair that, let's be honest, isn't in the best of conditions and so it's like dragging the brush through layers and layers of knots.
There have been many products on the market over the years that claim to detangle your hair. They never worked. Detangling spray, correct me if I'm wrong, doesn't work - at least not for me. The tanlgeteezer was something I invested in a couple of years ago but again I was met with disappointment. Although it did detangle the top layer of my hair, it wouldn't brush through the depth of my hair and it was still quite a painful process.
So we come to the wet brush. Reading reviews and watching Youtube videos on this product I'm pretty sure this was a very hyped up product when it first launched. Although this is the case I hadn't heard of it until about a month ago when I purchased it. I have to say I was very dubious as to whether this would be another overly hyped product that wouldn't work, but safe to say I was wrong this time.
When the brush first arrived I noticed it was a very large, sleek looking brush which I liked - I chose it in the colour black. I noticed on the first use that the claims that it is pain free were true as it went straight through my knots no problem and didn't pull on my scalp. The next test was with wet hair and I was shocked to find it once again went straight through the massive amount of knots without a problem. Another thing I have noticed while using the wet brush is that the amount of hair build up in the brush is very minimal when compared to my previous brush. Now I can't be sure whether this is due to my hair just not falling out as much at this moment in time or if it is due to the wet brush not pulling my hair, either way it is a positive sign.
Overall I would say it is a great product and well worth purchasing, especially for only £8.71 on Amazon! If you have an other products to combat the knots or just to make our lives easier when it comes to hair care then let me know, also let me know if you have a wet brush and what your thoughts are.
